Our Portfolio

Protecting What Matters Most

Insurance should never be treated as a one-size-fits-all commodity. The risks you face as a renter in a downtown apartment are vastly different from the risks faced by a homeowner in a hurricane zone or a small business owner with ten employees. At Guardian Mutual, we offer a comprehensive portfolio of insurance products that can be layered and customized to create a defensive shield around your specific assets and liabilities.

Personal Property & Auto (P&C)

Your home and your vehicles are likely your largest physical assets. Our Homeowners (HO-3 and HO-5) and Renters (HO-4) policies provide robust replacement cost coverage for your dwelling and personal property, alongside liability protection in case someone is injured on your premises. Our Auto Insurance policies offer high liability limits, comprehensive and collision coverage, uninsured motorist protection, and roadside assistance. By bundling your home and auto policies with Guardian, you can unlock significant multi-line discounts while simplifying your billing process.

Life & Health Security

While property insurance protects what you own, life and health insurance protect who you love. We offer flexible Term Life insurance for affordable, temporary coverage (ideal for young families paying off a mortgage), as well as Whole Life and Universal Life policies that build tax-advantaged cash value over time. On the health side, we provide supplemental policies, long-term care insurance, and disability income protection to ensure your family remains financially solvent if you are unable to work due to illness or injury.

Commercial & Business Lines

Running a business involves inherent risk. Guardian Mutual provides the financial backstop necessary for you to operate with confidence. Our Commercial lines include General Liability (to protect against third-party lawsuits), Commercial Property (to protect your buildings and inventory), Workers' Compensation (to cover employee injuries), and Cyber Liability (to protect against data breaches and ransomware). We also offer customized Business Owner's Policies (BOP) designed specifically for the unique needs of retail shops, restaurants, and professional service firms.

Policy FAQ

Questions About Coverage

A Personal Umbrella Policy provides an extra layer of liability protection—usually in increments of $1 million—that goes beyond the limits of your standard home and auto policies. It protects your assets from major lawsuits.
No. Standard homeowners insurance does NOT cover damage from rising water (floods). You must purchase a separate Flood Insurance policy, usually backed by the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), which our agents can write for you.
Actual Cash Value pays out what your item is worth today (factoring in depreciation). Replacement Cost pays out what it costs to buy a brand new version of that item. We strongly recommend Replacement Cost coverage.
It depends on your situation. If you have co-signed debt (like student loans) that would fall to your parents, or if you want to lock in a low rate while you are young and healthy, a term policy makes sense.
A deductible is the amount of money you agree to pay out-of-pocket toward a claim before your insurance coverage kicks in. Choosing a higher deductible usually results in a lower monthly premium.
